My universe

My entry for my group United-Mediums's 100 members contest.

And yes, that really is how I hold a pencil lol.

I tried drawing this six times.. Nothing just really felt right, ended up going for this which turned out to be simpler. I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, and I don't really remember a time when I wasn't creating characters and worlds of my own. At first, I was heavily influenced by Pokemon, and then Yu-gi-oh and Inuyasha. Naruto and Cardcaptor Sakura were also big influences on my style. I was always happy to be creating, to be making something of my own. To craft new universes exactly how I wanted them. When I had no one by my side, when times were tough, I always had drawing. And even when people made fun of my art or tried to bring me down, I'm glad I didn't give up.

DeviantArt does have its flaws, but still, it's a pretty great place and I've met some awesome people here. Thanks to this site, I've been able to keep my love for drawing alive and become even better. Sometimes progress is slow, but this year I'm determined to make a real jump in improvement. I want to be able to share my stories and art with even more clarity and detail than before.
