All life is equal. Humans, dragons, animals, plants, we all have our place on this planet. I will continue to fight for that equality, no matter how many times you try to knock me down.

Originally he was just going to be a nameless character, but I got carried away with the description, and well... I'll probably do some short comics about these characters in the future.

Kin is a fire dragon, and his kind is normally seen as destructive and selfish. He himself is very accepting of others, and has a fondness for nature and even has his own garden. This stems from his heritage, since his mother was a nature dragon and his father, fire. Kin was very sickly as a child and so his father abandoned him and his mother, believing they were both weak and useless. Kin got better as he grew up, but his mother passed away when he was fourteen due to illness since she had always put his health first, before her own.

Most other dragons view him as strange and do not interact with him unless needed. He used to be close friends with another fire dragon, Shuji, until Shuji betrayed him when Kin refused to fight with the other fire dragons in a war against the water dragons. That led to Kin losing one of his horns and having the left side of his face badly scarred, hence the mask. Kin still tried to stick to his peaceful ways, but upon hearing about Shuji's thoughtless destruction, he set out to stop him.
